The origins of this dessert are not really clear, but mentions of tiramisu appear in Italy in the XVIth century. The recipe, quite simple, combines tastes of biscuit, coffee, cocoa, marsala liqueur and mascarpone, for a rich and creamy result, full of flavours.

The MONIN Tips

Mostly made for milky applications, MONIN Tiramisu syrup will pair wonderfully into dessert drinks with vodka or brown spirits like rum, cognac or whiskies. If you wish to use it into a mocktail, I recommend pairing it with Le Fruit de MONIN Cherry and cranberry juice.
