Le Sirop de MONIN Melon

Le Sirop de MONIN Melon

Discovered in Antiquity by the egyptians, the melon has been cultivated in the south of France since the 16th century. A specialty of the Charentes, Anjou and Touraine regions, this summer fruit perfumes our market baskets. Often consumed raw, it can also be savoured as a cold soup, as a sorbet, or in a fruit salad. This round, juicy fruit goes really well with fresh herbs like basil, lemongrass and mint.

Le Sirop de MONIN Melon and its sweet juicy profile will bring a touch of freshness to all of your alcoholic and nonalcoholic creations. It’s the ideal companion for lemonades, iced teas, Fizz and Spritz.

The MONIN Tips

MONIN Melon syrup can easily be incorporated in your cold creations, with or without alcohol. It can be combined with citrus fruits, red fruits, aromatic herbs such as basil, mint and thyme. In terms of its pairings with spirits, it tastes better with clear spirits such as gin, tequila or vodka, but dark spirits won’t scare it off.
